The Rockport Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low-income residents through the management of Public Housing. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There are waiting lists for these rentals.

We endeavor to provide livable communities that are made up of a diverse range of economic incomes. We are committed to providing our participants with as many opportunities as possible to become economically self-sufficient. We shall do all these things while serving our participants and neighboring citizens with the highest degree of professional courtesy, empathy, and respect. Our goal is to manage our public housing units in a manner that is consistent with good, financially sound property management practices by taking advantage of available community and government resources. We endeavor to install pride and a desire for an enhanced quality of life for our participants and their families.
